Players are equipped with shotgun replicas. As the players shoot can the zombie hordes they will notice, most of the enemies have a weak spot. For instance if the enemies weak is the head, shooting the enemy in the chest will blow off a chunk of their flesh but the enemy will keep advancing.
To add realism player's reload the shotgun like a real shotgun. There is a great deal of replay value in the game as player's can choose multiple pathways to there destination and interact with the scenery by shooting explosive barrels and other background items.
The game also employs the skill shot system, where a cut scene will play and the player must save an innocent or their partner from danger.
