The story background is happened between the Metal Slug 4 and Metal Slug 5. There are 6 characters in this new version. Apart from the original 4 characters, there are 2 attractive characters join in this war. These 2 characters are Ralf and Clerk from King of Fighters Series.
In Metal Slug 6, it remains many popular machines as in the past, and it also develop some new system. In this new system, each character has their own ability and feature so that players can select the one that match with their playing style. In additional, Metal Slug 6 also added a “storing weapons system” and “Rush Blash system”to increase the attractiveness and excitation from prior version Metal Slug !
