King of Fighters XI features an illustration of the three main characters of the series, they are B. Jenet, Oswald & Elisabeth. The 11th annual fighting tournament. The version continues with use of the fifth buttons E this time labelled as Trust Attack. The Tactical Leader System from KOF2003 is renewed is this version.
As probably noted some moves require the new Skill Meter System. Which is an additional new bar(up the top near the life bar). This meter builds up on its own as time passes by, players can stock up to 2 skill meters. The match starts out with the skill meter full.
This is the second time that the King of Fighters series will be released on Sammy's Atomiswave arcade platform, the previous being last year's King of Fighters Neowave.
