The hugely anticipated Tekken 5 title, the sixth installment in the Tekken series, will start to ship in November. At the start of the game players learn Heihachi Mishima is dead and was killed by an army of new robots also known as Jack-5's. This unknown force has seized control of the Mishma Zaibatsu Corporation. The new IC card system in Tekken 5 gives the players access to a broad range of customizations, rank achievements and statistic tracking. You can customize the character’s head, face, upper and lower body with over 50 items. You ‘buy’ the custom features with the money earned by playing. Each card will hold customization data for one character such as the custom playing name, how much money the player has accumulated, the player rank, win/loss record and percentage, custom items and colors. Arcade machines will have the ability to keep ‘ghosts’ of other players. The machine remembers the playing style and mimics that style against you during a single player match. The machine features two card readers and one card dispenser.
